Very dense and intense learning and tasting expirience, so worth it!

点评：Hi. Me and my husband came with our two kids and we all enjoyed it. Place was the easiest thing to find in Bocas. It is 1 hectare long strech seafront property with colorful wall of various plants and lots of artwork. Dense lush forest is popping out of farm to the street, but there is only where the magic begins. You can see that owners put all their love and effort to make the place as it is.
Our host was farm manager Nadir. As it was hot day, he welcomed us with instant homemade gelato pause at gazebo pond to start into it. My husband, little bit nerdy, was verbaly immersed with him, where he explained us about geographical, topographical, demographical and historical characteristics of the area so we learned a lot that I was not expecting to. Me, as a chef enjoyed various flavourful herbs, aromatic plants and high pallete of exotic fruits that it is impossible to find in town markets. Realy exclusive gourmet expirience. And for kids, Nadir climbed some high trees to harvest fruits to make them animated and showed them sloth that got inside of the Finca Flora farm, hidden hummingbird nests, caymans in pond, and even howler monkeys who foraged the farm during our visit. Monkeys were cheeky. They were throwing water apples at us as we were approaching by to harvest some for ourselves.
This is an Excellent expirience especially during the rainy days in Bocas. For the amount of energy host puts in the price is very worth it for participants. We were expecting it to last about 2 hours but due to our curioisty host prolonged our stay to answer all our questions and show us more than usual around. It is true tropical moist rainforest climate, very wet, but due to ease of acess, flat ground and well maintained path by crew it was very easy to navigate. PS. If you are bringing your own small kids, take a good control off them so they do not wander away. The expirience is best for age from 7 to 77 years old we would say.
In case of heavy rain and your booked trip, just bring raincoats or umbrellas and you will be good. As for footwear, sandals, flip flops or rubber boots work well. Insect repellent citronella based ones work the best overall in Bocas, against sandflies and mosquitoes at some mangrove beaches. I will show some photos of fruits we ate downbellow, so you can see

我们的接待人是农场经理纳迪尔。由于那天天气很热……他热情地迎接了我们，还立刻为我们制作了手工意式冰淇淋。我们在凉亭旁的池塘边稍作停留，便开始享用。我的丈夫有点书呆子气，他与主人畅谈不已；主人向我们详细介绍了这一地区的地理、地形、人口分布以及历史特征，让我们收获了许多意料之外的知识。而我作为一名厨师，则尽情品尝了各种风味独特的香草、芳香植物以及市场上根本买不到的各类奇异水果。这真的是一次极为难得的美食体验啊。对于孩子们来说，纳迪尔爬上高高的树去摘果子，让孩子们兴致盎然。他还向孩子们展示了闯入Finca Flora农场的树懒、隐藏在林间的蜂鸟巢穴、池塘里的凯门鳄，甚至还有我们在参观期间在农场里觅食的吼猴。那些猴子可顽皮了——当我们走近去采摘水果时，它们还朝我们扔水苹果呢。
这真是一次极棒的体验，尤其是在博卡斯镇的雨季里。主办方投入的精力与资源绝对物有所值，参与者们都受益匪浅。我们原以为参观时间只会持续约2小时，但由于我们兴趣浓厚、问题不断，主办方便延长了我们的停留时间，解答所有疑问并带我们参观了更多区域。这里确实是典型的热带潮湿雨林气候，十分潮湿；不过由于交通便利、地势平坦，加上工作人员维护良好的步道，游览起来也相当轻松。附言：如果带小孩同行，请务必看紧他们，防止走失哦。我们认为，这项体验最适合7岁到77岁的人群。
