Miss sold trip - no sunrise and few animals from the balloon

点评：Christmas Day balloon ride over the Masai Mara; what a perfect present…on paper at least!
A very early departure from our lodge, an hour’s drive through the National Park, checkin at Fig Tree Lodge well before sunrise and then a VERY LONG WAIT before our balloon (we were in number 3) took off.
The first 2 balloons took off at 6.15am and were able to enjoy early morning sun. We were left watching them in a field with our balloon lying on the ground.
The pilot (Sergei) then stated he didn’t like the balloon and had requested a replacement - which had to arrive be unpackaged, laid out and inflated.
We eventually were airborne at 6.55am and had missed the sunrise. It was then clear Sergei was only interested in getting to the breakfast point as fast as possible so we flew very high in the air for most of the journey (you could spot the off giraffe through high power telescopic cameras) but no animals were seen when we eventually dropped closer to the ground.
The balloon ride was an experience in itself, the bush breakfast was tasty, the non flying staff were lovely and helpful, our fellow flyers were interesting to meet and our jeep driver (George) was excellent.

If it hadn’t been for our fabulous driver George who took us to see a Cheetah on the way back to camp the score would have been 1/5 because of the balloon issues, timing of the flight and pilot with no interpersonal skills.

热气球之旅本身就是一次难忘的体验，丛林早餐很美味，非飞行工作人员热情友好，结识其他乘客也很有趣，我们的吉普车司机（乔治）非常棒。

如果不是我们出色的司机乔治在返回营地的路上带我们去看猎豹，这次旅行的评分会是 1/5，因为热气球的问题、飞行时间安排以及飞行员缺乏人际交往能力。
