点评:This is a lovely peaceful patch of rainforest with a well constructed path that does an easy loop over the river, and back to the visitor centre.
The first half is wheelchair friendly, but after the second swing bridge there are stairs, and then a steep path.
Ignore the signs, this is a 30-45 minute walk at most if you don’t take the side path up to the top of the falls.
If you do, count on about 90 minutes return. But the walk up there leaves the rainforest, and the views from the top are not that great.
Parking is $12, and can fill up on weekends, but there was hardly anyone here on a weekday afternoon.
There’s a good gift shop and information at the visitor centre, good toilets, but no cafe, though they do sell ice creams, snacks and coffee from a machine.
However there are plenty of tables of you want to bring lunch.
The drive here is sensational, through some of the loveliest scenery in Australia - rolling green hill, then alongside a river up into the rainforest.
A fabulous short trip (we drove here off the freeway, and were in, did the walk and were out in 90 minutes) or you can stretch it out for the day.
But note there are no swimming spots here.
