点评:It is hard to describe the Pablo Fierro museum. It houses a collection of objects both small and large, both rare and common, from different times, randomly distributed in a labyrinth of narrow corridors and stairs, connecting some rooms and the veranda with a great view to the Osorno volcano across the lake. Pablo, the artist who gives his name to the museum, was there when I visited, taking his time to answer questions and to provide a quite personal narration of his relationship with the house.
But describing the museum fails miserably in conveying the actual fun that it is to visit. Where else can you go inside a gigantic cuckoo clock (which is also visible from the outside), go from a school classroom to the bow of a ship looking at the lake and the volcano? Even having to backtrack after reaching a dead end adds to the experience.
Add to this that the museum is free and easy to reach.
