点评：I visited today in beautiful sunshine and had a fantastic experience. Colby Woodland Garden is full of open spaces, peaceful woodland, and colourful summer planting. The hydrangeas were especially striking — huge, bright blue flower heads dotted throughout the garden and adding real vibrancy to the walk.I really appreciated how many areas were left unmowed, creating natural pockets of wildflowers buzzing with insects. It gave the whole place a relaxed, wildlife‑friendly feel and made the meadows look stunning in the summer light.The route through the garden is easy and enjoyable, and being able to walk straight on into Amroth and down to the beach was a real highlight. Woodland, meadow, then suddenly the sea — a perfect way to end the visit.
Facilities were good, with a beautiful tea‑room, bookshop, toilets, and clear accessibility information. Plenty of space to sit, wander, or just enjoy the surroundings.
Overall, a lovely summer day out with beautiful hydrangeas, wildlife‑rich meadows, and a scenic walk that leads right to the coast.
