点评:To get the single disappointing issue out of the way; don't go on a weekend. The queues for everything are horrendous - from queuing to pay the entry fee, to the restaurants or the different attractions including the boat trips.
That said this is an amazing theme park with all the buildings faithful reproductions of those back in the Netherlands - from the canals, the iconic bridges, the Amsterdam style house terraces, the limestone city gates and the historic buildings. When we finally managed to eat at a modest stall, it was to find some of the best potato chips (French fries to any US readers) in Japan, and sausages - all this at a reasonable price. The beer was good too.
The site itself is a nod towards the Dutch themselves being among the pioneers in opening up the Nagasaki region to international trade and the prosperity of the city.
