A warm welcome and genuinely interesting visit

点评：We enjoyed an excellent visit at Chateau Belingard today. We were greeted by Anaïs who set us up with a recorded audio guide for our short, but very informative tour.
We watched as a manual harvest took place in the distance, and saw crate after crate of freshly picked bunches being loaded into the press.
We finished with a wine tasting and super interesting and informative conversation with Anaïs not only about the wines we were tasting, but also about winemaking in general and the impact climate change is having on the industry.
It probably helped that we were there on a very quiet afternoon, but we were fortunate to meet and speak with other members of the team as well as various people who stopped by specifically to purchase wine.
We have toured many vineyards in various parts of the world, and we left Chateau Belingard feeling we’d learned many new things and carrying various bottles of white, rosé, red, and of course the deliciously sweet Montbazillac.
If you’re looking for a warm welcome and to discover something new about winemaking, I strongly recommend you visit Anaïs and the team at this unpretentious and charming family-owned winery.
