点评:Walking through the Ruins of Nagamachi Bukeyashiki was like stepping back in time. This beautifully preserved samurai district offers a fascinating glimpse into old Japan, with its narrow stone-paved streets, traditional wooden houses, and peaceful atmosphere.
Unlike some historic areas that feel overly commercialised, Nagamachi retains a genuine sense of history and authenticity. It is easy to imagine how the samurai families once lived here centuries ago. The well-preserved architecture, earthen walls, and quiet lanes make it one of the most atmospheric areas in Kanazawa.
We spent a pleasant couple of hours wandering through the district, taking photographs and simply enjoying the slower pace of life. It is especially beautiful on a sunny day when the light highlights the traditional buildings and creates a timeless feel.
A wonderful place to explore for anyone interested in Japanese history, culture, and architecture. One of the highlights of our visit to Kanazawa.
