点评:This living fort is truly magnificent. If you take a guide for any place, take a licensed guide here. They will show you every little narrow street and everything there is to see in addition to giving you a full history lesson. We went early to avoid the heat. There were mostly people working and those who live in the fort. You can easily spend two to two and a half hours walking everywhere. Be careful of the motorcycles and auto rickshaws zipping around. The narrow streets are lined with stores and havelis. Every corner has a new sight to photograph. If you can, take an extreme wide angle lens. It’s also great to see the ladies dressed in traditional clothing. No one bothers you here as they’re mostly busy doing their daily routines. If you speak to shop keepers, they’ll try to convince you to go in. There are also a few temples in the fort. Spend the time and enjoy the beauty of it all.
