点评:Parked at the furthest National Trust car park. Free full day parking to members, £3 for non members. Toilets a short walk from the car park. Chose to do the 4 mile coastal clifftop walk. Pink arrows clearly mark the trail albeit we actually logged the distance full loop as 4.9miles. Steep in some sections and a number of sheer cliff face drops. Pathway also reduces to single file in these sections which made it a little dicey passing walkers in the opposite direction, but the views are absolutely stunning and incredibly worth it. We saw seals and beuatiful birds. We walked on a sunny, warm, blustery day, but can imagine this to be quite a difficult walk in bad weather. In fact I certainly wouldn't recommend doing so in poor weather especially with young children. Highly recommend taking a water bottle with you too as there are no facilities until over half way along the route. However the National Trust cafe at the halfway point is a very welcome and reasonably priced venue. Lots of seating and clean toilets. After this point the return journey part of the loop back to the car park is mainly to road/lane, but we found it quite quiet and people drove with care. Cars can be seen coming from a distance and the verges are quite safe to stand on. All in all a wonderful walk and one we would definitely do again!
