点评:Tranquil spot in Dallas. It’s a small sculpture centre - hopefully one day the entrance fees will help it expand - but the gardens are especially beautiful including sculptures by Henry Moore (I’ve enjoyed seeing his work at stately homes back home) and lovely water feature. The sculptures insure change regularly - some of the metal ones I liked, some weren’t my cup of tea but the story of the artist becoming paralysed in the lift and still completing his work was moving. I enjoyed the Moseley exhibition using beautiful pieces of wood. Downstairs has paintings and drawings, again some appealed and some didn’t but that’s the point, it’s all subjective. The cafe is a nice place out of the hustle to sit and look at the garden with a drink and salad out of the heat. I spent about an hour here. Ideal for a solo travel as sometimes I think art is easier to connect with alone.
