Perfect toddler trip out on a wet and rainy day

点评：I bought annual membership here on a cold rainy day when I was going mad stuck inside with my baby and really have no regrets about doing so!
The aquarium is set out over two floors with lots of animals and fish to see. The range of sharks and fish in the ocean exhibit is amazing, far better than the sea life centres and the walk through tunnel makes my little boys day, especially when there’s divers in there who wave to the kids. There’s frogs and spider and snakes and the pelicans outside.
Can you walk round it in just over an hour? Yeah, but then you go round again! My toddler will easily run around the walk through tunnel four or five times, and visit the frogs multiple times. And I’m happy just to tag along with him. There’s also a good play area outside and randomly, a dinosaur trail.
I’ve only been once in the summer holidays and it was far too crowded and not enjoyable. But on a cold rainy winters day, it’s a great family trip to get out of the house. The cafe is a bit pricey and not the best, but you can always pop into Cheshire oaks nearby or use the Marks and Spencer cafe opposite before or after your visit.
For what you pay for a single day trip, you might not get your moneys worth, but get annual membership or voucher deals online, and it’s a lovely kids day out.
