Bit run down and animal welfare is of my concern

点评：I’m not sure I can recommend this aquarium on good faith. I was very disappointed to see sharks and other sea life swimming in very visibly dirty tanks. In fact, many of the areas of the aquarium appeared to be quite old and run down. A good clean, refurb and cleaning schedule would be required in my opinion to keep this place in tip top shape for the guests but most importantly for the animals welfare.
The centre is quite small and we finished our day out within an hour. That being said, it seemed bigger with more to do than at the seam life centres in Manchester and Blackpool, so by comparison, it had more to see and do than the local-ish competition.
There is a large playground which my daughter enjoyed twice during our visit.
We paid for parking just under £3 and got a free hot drink in the cafe by showing the parking ticket, which I felt was good. Although there were no barriers and absolutely no one checking if tickets were paid for parking or not.
We ate at the cafe, the food was OK. The price was £6 for a child’s meal and drink which I felt was good. We ate in front of the shark tank which was a nice touch. It says no picnic in the cafe but NOONE seemed to pay attention to this. There were picnics at every other table and kids running about everywhere, which was quite annoying.
The gift shop was about what you’d expect and they had various price ranges to suit everyone. My daughter got a make your own pearl necklace for £13 but there were cheaper gifts.
Overall, I wouldn’t return but don’t feel cheated too much as it was an OK day out.

礼品店的东西和预期差不多，价格也比较多样，适合各种预算。我女儿买了一条13英镑的自制珍珠项链，不过也有更便宜的礼物。
总的来说，我不会再来了，但也没觉得太亏，毕竟也算是一次还算可以的体验。
