Northfield Farm Horse Riding and Trekking Centre的点评
点评：Only once riden a horse , my brother had never. The instructors can adapt to most needs. In fact it's amazing how my brother trekked for 2 hours without being a burden, on a full sized horse.... they have a few tamed horses, I guess each has there own characters.. as the experienced girls galloped on more energetic ones.. us men i think had lazy ones, mine was pretty suited to myself at the time, steady... the trail was charming, still needing to slow 'Tonto' down, steering out of line of bushes if he was trying to bite every thing green leaved in site, i also did some cantering which made me feel more advanced...i never entirely got the knack, but I think I looked the part for a short while. Friendly group which helps pass the time away... the instructors were knowledgeable, talkative and stern ,controlling the actions of horses and the group.
Value for money. Only booked 2hours, allow for more ,(turn up 15min early, 20mins packing up) could have and possibly should have booked half day.. I recommend if in the area, we went caving afterwords so suited our day.
I think it's a pity they do not go to the Three Shires area itself because of crowds but the views and tracks are still interesting, relaxing and still very close to the area.
It's brought a grin from myself and a bigger smile from my brother...even if we were crap.
Oh an interesting fact, it's the highest village in the uk from base stable.
