Riding on 7star status but not delivering a 7star service

点评：We recently booked a day pass for a cabana at Sal Beach Club to celebrate our anniversary. It definitely isn’t cheap, so expectations were naturally high – we wanted something a bit more special than a standard lounger.
First, the honesty: the cabanas aren’t quite as luxurious as the price suggests. Ours came with four soft drinks and some water, but the overall beverage offering felt limited. The cabana itself is quite small – really only suitable for a couple – and surprisingly, given the premium, there’s no sea view. Paying extra and still having to imagine the ocean isn’t ideal.
Another thing to note is the location. The cabanas sit directly on the main staff/waiter walkway, so there’s a constant flow of people passing by. If, like me, that makes it hard to fully relax, it’s something to factor in. Add to that speakers positioned right by the cabana playing rather enthusiastic “lift-meets-trance” music… and let’s just say I was hoping to hear waves, wind, and birds – not Ibiza at 11am.
That said, there are positives. The staff genuinely made an effort to acknowledge our anniversary, which was thoughtful and appreciated. The food was genuinely delicious, and the overall setting is visually stunning – the optics really are second to none.
Is it the best of the best? In my opinion, no. Is it still enjoyable if you go in knowing exactly what you’re getting? Yes. Just don’t book the cabana expecting ultra-luxury, total privacy, or serene beachfront silence.

它是最好的吗？在我看来，并非如此。但如果你事先了解它的定位，它仍然能让你享受其中吗？是的。只是别指望预订小屋就能享受到极致奢华、绝对私密或宁静的海滩氛围。
