点评:My apologies for posting a belated review but having learned that Arimia will close its restaurant soon until its next "evolution", I want to share our fabulous lunch experience in late October last year. The ambience is lovely and serene, and the dishes, divine. Each was carefully prepared with local ingredients and the flavors shined. I took copious notes of each dish because it was so creative, delicious, and artfully presented. One dish was served in a wooden box that was reminiscent of Japanese kaiseki ryori (traditional multi course meal that utilizes the freshest seasonal ingredients). Like kaiseki, each dish was served in a beautiful bowl or plate that complemented the dish; visual pleasures that enhanced the blending of often unique flavors. Their suggested wine parings were perfect, and we had the best (Japanese) sake with one of the dishes. Alas, they do not sell that sake.
While not inexpensive, the prices were fair and great value for our experience (we were there 2.5 hours.)
We highly recommend dining there before they close on June 18. Dining at Arimia was the culinary highlight of our month long visit to northern/western Australia. We are now enjoying their lovely virgin olive oil and a couple of wine bottles that we brought home to California. Good luck to Arimia and we hope that you will reopen as a restaurant sometime in the future.
