Great location, poorly maintained
Tasek Lama Recreational Park的点评
点评：This is a well used and popular park just a short walk from the main urban area. It is a lush jungle offering which if had had the right investment would be a national treasure. The main tarmaced areas are busy with local walkers, runners and school trips. The major issue begins as you venture deeper into the park. There is poor signage, bare boned maps and weather worn paths. The wood had rotted throughout that some of the structures (such as the viewing platforms) were unsafe - many steps had been washed away and the rope railings were downright dangerous and flimsy. My wife and I are seasoned trekkers (we arrived in from Nepal) but this proved a true test of our marriage. We were nearly lost on numerous occasions and discovered that red ribbons rather than bona fide pathside signs often offered better direction. At one point I thought I might have to go ahead and get help. Such a shame as the vegetation is amazing plus we encountered many birds and monkeys. This trip would have undoubtedly been a highlight of our visit if there had been proper care and attention directed to maintaining the park.
