点评：We went for the half day dig. We each brought a 5 gallon bucket as instructed. We came back with about 20 chips of turquoise not big enough to cab and a few (less than 10) rocks with very small turquoise caps between us. Less than a gallon-size bag in all for 2 people. We dug in what was described as a 50-year tailings pile. We certainly did not get our money's worth of turquoise. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. The only way you need a 5-gallon bucket is if you want landscape rock with turquoise staining. Having been to a fee dig at a turquoise mine in New Mexico where we came away with a 5-gallon bucket full of choice turquoise ore, that is what we were expecting. We wasted our time and money on this fee dig. The area we were digging through was obviously very picked over and not fresh tailings. We should have just gone and bought Royston turquoise at Sunwest Silver in Albuquerque. We also have been to a fee dig at a hyalite bubble opal claim in Milford, Utah, Rock Dreams Claim, where we collected a 5-gallon bucket of incredible bacon opal material. We feel like the advertising of this fee dig is misleading because it led us to believe we would be digging in pre-graded fresh tailings from the active Royston mine, not tailings that are 50 years old and have been picked over. The other people there didn't find much either. The guide was very nice and gave advice and instructions while we were digging. If you just want to go and dig for fun and come home with a few pretty rocks and not much turquoise, then this is the place to go.
