A complete explanation of the sake-making process, from the type of rice used, harvest methodology, polishing the rice, steaming, cooling, adding the yeast (koji), fermentation, and bottling. They have video explanations in both English and Japanese. Since you are in the original building where they used to make the sake, the old wooden equipment and tools are all on display. A great nostalgic setting. It is a great experience.
Realistically, you should be able to see everything in about an hour.
It culminates with the shop and tasting room. They have specials that can't be beat elsewhere. They also sell branded swag.
Lots of parking on site. However, if you come by car, they will ask who the designated driver is, and they will put a sticker on you so that you are identified and not offered alcohol.
While we were there, there were a couple of bus tours that came through like a hurricane. Running through the exhibits and back on the bus. It looks like this museum is part of some sort of scavenger hunt; many Japanese visitors were scurrying around looking for a certain clue. It really made the atmosphere lively.
