点评:Other than its glittering gold roof, we didn't love it. The property surrounding it is beautiful, very well tended and with beautiful plantings & statues. Very little of the interior of the palace is visible except for the main hall where dignitaries are received and even that was hard to see as it is roped off and you have to lean over the ropes to get a better look. No photos allowed although we saw people taking pictures anyway. Other structures on the property are lived in by the king and his mother & are not open to the public. There are smaller buildings where you can get a bite to eat, buy some souvenirs, and greet the resident cats (if you like that sort of thing). One cute takeaway was that free, small water bottles as gifts from the king were given out near the exit. They have the royal seal and good wishes from the king on their labels.
