Large train station all on one level. Not too historic looking built in 1939.

点评：We arrived in Bruges by rental car and left via the train. We were in Bruges 4 days and 3 nights. On the morning of Monday, May 18, 2026 we arrived by taxi from our hotel (it would have been a 25 minute walk with roller luggage). Our taxi driver told us that roller luggage are being banned from the cobblestone streets in several European cities.. ... for being too noisy! We agree.
This is not a very historic station built in 1939 replacing the 19th century station.
Arrived at the station about 9AM, hoped to catch a train by 10 AM or so. Our destination was Luxembourg City. It is quite confusing even when watching the screens, to determine what train we want. I had bought the train tickets online in advance, and are good for any train (to Luxembourg) all day. Fortunately, there are station staff ready to help, but very busy and we had to wait in line. We were not the only ones confused. Yes, I know that I could have used the train app, but spotty and unreliable phone service. Finally, were told the platform to go to. The next step was having to change trains in Brussels. The station is very clean.
