点评：Celebrated my mothers 80th birthday with Sunday dinners in the restaurant with the family.
What a treat. Food portions very generous plenty of meat etc. what was nice was having vegetables served on separate plates. Some had Lamb beef and chicken all well cooked with large yourshire pudding.
Good selection of pudding and again quite large portions, I had apple pie thick apple between pastry very nice.
I believe most food cooked on premises.
The bill was more than reasonable.
The restaurant itself was very clean good seating with pictures and items on display of past mining days.
The restaurant setting is very traditional and pleasant
Toilets were in extremely good order with a disabled one.
There is plenty of parking with disabled bays right outside the restaurant. The staff were suburb and couldn’t do enough for you.
Tables nicely laid.
