Pidurangala Rock + Entrance Fees (cheaper + in some ways better than Sigiriya Lion Rock)

点评：A absolutely brilliant place to visit, historical site, neat and clean and local people are providing a great service to visitors / tourists.
In many ways this place is BETTER than Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress - just located a few kilometres across view !!!
It is also MUCH CHEAPER than Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress !!
From the start (long walks) through beautiful forestry and some ancient ruins, then the climb is excellent and can be a little tricky. Watch out for monkeys at top. Near the top it is fairly steep climb on to and over the big boulder rocks - find out for yourself which is the best way through or over them near the top !!!!
Then once at the top it is an amazing view across the entire 360 landscape - breathtaking to the full !!
Superb place to visit and spend 2hrs in total - plenty of steps to do and take plenty of water.
NOTE: Entrance fees are for family of 4 total 3,500 Sri Lankan Rupees (compared to 38,375 Sri Lankan Rupees for Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress)..... for locals it is much much cheaper !! Fees can be found online but not exact advertised !
