点评：We booked the 10-day Huayhuash trek through David at Quechuandes, as well as two day treks (Laguna 69 and Nevada Mateo), and spent five nights staying in their lovely b+b before and after the trek.
Our experience of the Huayhuash trek was excellent - the guide, chef and porters were all hugely committed and experienced, the food was delicious and equipment was of decent quality. Though it is a challenging trek, we were well supported by David's information in advance and the expertise of the crew, as well as being reassured by his clear confidence in our guide, Vanessa, who proved to be a truly excellent guide and adapted to our group's abilities and preferences immediately (and was willing to indulge our desire to take on every optional challenging side hike!).
We were grateful for David who organised an excellent guide and good equipment for Nevada Mateo, as this was our first glacier mountaineering experience.
The b+b was a pleasant place to stay for a few days outside of the main centre of Huaraz. For the price there are probably smarter or more convenient options in town, but as a base for the treks we had organised through Quechuandes it was perfect.
