点评:Now slightly addicted! We live in Gloucester - a famed fishing port serving smacking fresh seafood right off the docks. Yet, why are we taking the train for 1.5 hours and walking from North Station to ....Back Bay for seafood. We found exceptional and a bit more creative seafood served at the Atlantic Fish Company. Starting with incredibly fresh warm bread served with a perfectly crispy crust and big slabs of sweet butter. Warning do not fill up on bread! Ghastly clam chowder, shiny and thick with flour not ingredients - more like a pudding made with clams...do not fill up on this horror. Onward to a fantastic entree, crab encrusted haddock - so tender, so flakey, so flavorful with a chapeau of crispy crab - a splendid contrast of textures. Surrounded by perfected cooked vegetables and pan fried taters drowned in a heavenly butter sauce. I could not eat my entire entree and literally laid awake that night regretting that I did not eat every bite of that superb dish. Note: it is not possible to recreate food flavors while tossing and turning, although I tried. My husband, a true foodie, remarked that Chef does not use a heavy hand with the salt shaker allowing the fresh flavors to shine through the dish. This is greatly appreciated - you salt freaks can simply use the salt shakers thoughtfully placed on every table if you want to taste brine everywhere. The atmosphere is elegant, yet fun - probably more so if you can eat on the patio. Service was impeccable, friendly at just the right pace. Another regret was that I could not handle dessert and had to pass on tasting the key lime, described as very tart - be still my heart. Nothing for it but to just journey down to lovely Back Bay in the spring and have another go at it.
