Use it only because it is local to us, not by choice.
Festival Place Shopping Centre的点评
点评:The centre is slowly emptying of shops, so options to get what you need are becoming very limited. The emptiness is masked by displays and stickers in windows to make it look fuller. What shops they have are rather uninspiring and not covering the essentials.
Big let down is the decision to have dogs in the centre - sniffing at merchandise (yuck, I prefer clothes without dog slobber!) and are even in the toilets - which was a very scary experience for my children. They are not keen to go to any cafes in town now as they don't want to be in an enclosed space stuck near dogs. When approaching the centre, it is clear they are prioritising dog owners as core market.
Toilets near library - most useful location, have been closed for months with no sign of opening. Others are quite out of the way for us, meaning panic dashes for my children. Toilets all have loud hand driers and the only family toilets left accessible are baby change facilities so are not usually available for us as a family with children with sensory difficulties looking to avoid hand drier noise. Water in taps is scolding hot so my children have to use hand sanitiser. Centre's response to toilet issues was that family facilties were available and water temp was within regulation.
