点评：Kenrokuen Garden is one of those rare places that instantly slows you down. We were fortunate to visit on a beautiful sunny day, and the garden looked absolutely stunning. Crystal-clear streams, perfectly manicured trees, colourful azaleas in full bloom and tranquil ponds created a scene that felt almost too perfect to be real.
What impressed me most was the incredible attention to detail. Every bridge, pathway, stone and tree seems to have been carefully positioned to create harmony from every angle. As we wandered through the grounds, gardeners could be seen quietly tending the landscape with remarkable care and dedication — a reminder that the beauty of Kenrokuen is not accidental but the result of centuries of craftsmanship and pride.
Despite being one of Japan’s most famous gardens, it never felt rushed or overcrowded. There are countless peaceful corners where you can simply sit, listen to the water and admire the scenery. The reflections in the ponds, the elegant stone lanterns and the backdrop of mature pine trees make it feel like walking through a living work of art.
Kenrokuen is often described as one of Japan’s three most beautiful gardens, and after spending a few hours here, it is easy to understand why. A truly serene and unforgettable experience, and one of the highlights of our visit to Kanazawa. Highly recommended. 🌸🍃🇯🇵
