点评:We took the bus from Gozo ferry port. The bus stop is right outside the ferry exit. Be prepared to push on as no one seems able to queue! We bought a €19.00 12 trip bus card from a machine near our accommodation in Rabat. You are able to use one card for multiple people do we had one card giving the 4 of us 3 rides each. The bus stop is just a little down the road from the museum site as there is a lot of building work going on in the area.
When we entered the site the museum part was full with a tour group so we decided to do our reading on the way out and headed straight to Ggantija. To get down to the main site there is a very long narrow, steep raised platform made of wooden planks & scaffolding. (A permanent walkway seems to be under construction at the moment.)
Ggantija is amazing, even bigger than I had imagined. The rock sections in the walls are massive and the smooth entry stone on the floor of the left walkway leaves me in wonder of how on earth it was moved down the hill and into position.
100% recommend you visit.
