I showed up too early for Dinner and was only able to grab some Lunch

点评：Producing over 45,000 barrels in 2024, MBC is the third largest brewer in Maine. I walked into their tasting room on Tuesday, July 15th, 2025 and tried to order a Dinner Imperial IPA but they didn't have any available on draft when I visited. They did have bottles of Dinner, but I'm always going to choose draft over bottled beer when at a taproom of a brewery, since it's fresher. They released the Dinner DIPA on draft one week later on July 22nd, 2025. Since I was too early for Dinner, I got what I thought would be the next best thing, a 16 oz. Lunch American IPA ($9) on draft. Lunch uses Amarillo, Centennial, and Simcoe hops. I didn't like it at all. It was one and done for me.
In addition to beer, they also offer wine, cocktails, cider, soft drinks as well as pizza, salads, snacks, and a dessert cannoli. There are picnic type tables for seating. They also provide Wi-Fi service for taproom guests. Every single employee I had contact with was super friendly. It was apparent they all enjoy their jobs and are treated very well by their employer. An updated correction to their business's schedule: they are open an hour later, until 9 p.m., on Fridays and Saturdays. Allow at least 30 minutes, or longer if you are getting food.
