Cairngorms National Park的点评
点评：The Cairngorms have a ‘softer’ look than the stark drama of the north-western Highlands, but there are many outstanding views. Fir-lined hillsides give way to the bare, rocky peaks above. A walk along the many trails will often lead you from a tree-lined path to a view across the mountain range that will stay long in your memory. This is good walking country for both the serious and the casual walker. The lochs tend to be smaller than their counterparts elsewhere but are no less appealing for their size.
For the energetic, there are numerous attractions. Close to Aviemore you will find water sports, mountain biking, clay shooting, quad biking, archery, falconry and, as this is the Cairngorms, winter sports. Glenmore is also home to the Cairngorm Reindeer Centre.
Nervous drivers can be assured that many of the routes into and through the National Park are good dual-track roads. Whatever your tastes, it is unlikely you will be bored in the Cairngorms.
