Westlands Country Park的点评
点评：I booked a two-night stay in a stargazer pod. Upon check-in, an older member of the reception staff continued a conversation with another receptionist while processing my arrival, despite my having just paid £450. This did not create a professional first impression.
On arriving at the pod, I immediately noticed significant wear and tear. I contacted the receptionist straight away to report these pre-existing issues, particularly as a £200 damage deposit had been taken and I wished to ensure I would not later be held responsible for them.
The deposit itself took three days to be released back to my account.
The pod was generally clean. However, on Saturday morning the shower began flooding. When I called reception , I was informed that the plug had not been fitted correctly and that this was a known issue. The maintenance guy who attended subsequently attributed the problem to the cleaning staff.
In addition, the oven light flashes intermittently, illuminating the pod at night, and the fridge produces a constant droning noise.
We are in the restaurant. The steak pie was disappointing. I requested a spoon from a server named Ellie as it was far too watery , but the request was ignored. After asking for the bill and receiving it, we sat for approximately ten minutes ready to pay, with our jackets on, while Ellie and other members of staff repeatedly walked past without acknowledging us. We eventually went to the reception desk and paid.
The speed limit around the park is 15 mph, yet we observed other guests driving recklessly at speeds well in excess of 30 mph.
The hot tub was the highlight of the stay.
In total, the accommodation cost £450 for two nights, with a £200 security deposit held, and a £100 charge for shooting activities that we did not ultimately pay. Overall, the experience felt overpriced for the standard of accommodation and service received.
