Nice walk but beware the steps on the red route.

点评：Had a nice walk here with our two dogs. Just a word of warning, the car park only lets you pay cash and it’s £6:50 for all day parking and no change given. We looked at the map and decided to take the red route, but didn’t do the part where you walk up to the coast, instead we carried straight on at the gazebo. It was still a 6km walk! We had the dog pram with us and most of the route it was fine under foot, if not a little bumpy in places. It was all well signposted until the final section where we came to a sign saying we were leaving the grounds and no safe access to the car park. We retraced our steps and realized we needed to walk across the field to continue on the red trail and the path wasnt that well walked so no wonder we missed it. Once across the field there was a series of steps, which we werent expecting. We did manage, after a bit of an effort to get the dogs and the pram up the steps and continue on our way. Overall a good walk and the dogs were tired (as was I) at the end of the walk.
