Lovely waterfall to visit but beware of the parking costs.

点评：We love waterfalls, so whilst in the area, this was a must for us. Quite easy to get to. You get your tickets from the hotel if you want to use their path way down to the fall and costs £3.95 per adult and £2.95 per child over four years old. We went in to the hotel to get the tickets whilst the husbands parked the cars. There is a car park right next to the hotel but beware it says £3.00 on the website but cost over £5.00 per car and we were there around 40 minutes. And the parking meter was a faff. We went in October and arrived just before 4pm and the pathway closes at 4.30pm. There is a public pathway that is a five mile round walk which is free, I believe. But if you haven't much time or are infirm, then this is the best option. The walk is around ten minutes to get down to the waterfall then there are some steps at the end. We were the only people there when we went, probably due to the time of day and time of year so it was extra nice. The waterfall is lovely and the woodland that surrounds it is beautiful. Would recommend but still miffed about the parking prices!
