点评：Don't even know where to begin. What a day.
Firstly, the boat ride is fast, and our return was really bumpy as the weather had deteriorated but trusted Stephen the skipper implicitly as he was knowledgeable, very skillful and took safety very seriously. If you have back problems, go on the May Princess instead of the rib. But the rib is really good fun, prepare to get wet.
The island, be prepared, bring snacks and drinks (although you can buy basics aboard the May Princess which stays in the harbour for the duration of the trip) as there is nothing on the island except visitors toilet block. Good walking shoes, and appropriate clothing as the weather can change. You'll be on the island around three hours. As for the island itself. Just wow. If you go at the right time of year? Spectacular. Yesterday was cold and windy but it was just perfect. Birds by the thousand. So grateful to have been able to make the trip. I should add, you have to book slots on these trips early in the year (January) to be sure of the slot you want. They fill up fast. So, so worth it. I'll post a few photos to show.
