点评：Riding the Ruta 40 through the Quebrada de las Flechas was one of those days on the bike that just sticks with you forever.
The road itself is mostly straight and fast in parts, but when you drop into that section of the quebrada, everything changes—the landscape turns into this wild, otherworldly canyon carved out of red and orange rock, with those bizarre arrowhead-shaped formations pointing straight up like nature decided to build its own cathedral.
The ripio is good enough to keep a steady rhythm, but you find yourself slowing down anyway because every few kilometers there's another pull-off spot begging you to stop, kill the engine, and just take it in.
The light hits the rocks differently throughout the day, so if you time it right (early morning or late afternoon), the colors pop in ways that make your photos look fake even though they're real. It's quiet out there too—hardly any traffic, just the wind and the occasional guanaco wandering across the road.
What made the whole experience so special was how raw and untouched it felt.

We stopped at a few viewpoints, shared some mates with a couple of other riders who pulled up, and just soaked it up.
