Absolutely Worth Visiting – Ueno Zoo, Tokyo
上野动物园的点评
点评：We had a fantastic day at Ueno Zoo in Japan! Despite the crowds, the zoo is beautifully laid out with plenty of green space and a great variety of animals from all over the world.
We queued for nearly 1 hour to see the famous pandas, but unfortunately they were fast asleep behind a log. We could only just see their paws poking out! It was a bit disappointing after the long wait, but that's the nature of zoos sometimes – the animals do what they want.
The real highlight for us was the polar bear enclosure. I managed to get some amazing photos and videos as the bear was very active, swimming and playing right up close to the glass. It was incredible to watch and easily made up for the panda experience.
The zoo is well-maintained, has lovely walking paths, and there are plenty of places to eat and rest. We especially enjoyed the Japanese garden area too. Highly recommend spending a few hours here if you're in Tokyo – just be prepared for queues at the popular animals and bring plenty of patience (and a good camera for those special moments)!
