Amazing Historical Castle
姬路城的点评
点评：This is truly an amazing experience to visit this historical castle. It’s a short 15 minute walk from the train station, or a 7 minute taxi ride. The ticket counter is at a 5 minute walk from the main park enclosure entrance. Tickets can be paid through cash or card and are currently valued at Yen 2,500 per person. There are coin/card operated lockers after the ticket counter. The overall experience of reading the history and going to the top of the castle takes around 2 hours at an easy pace. They provide shoe bags at the entrance and before entering the castle building you have to remove the shoes. The inside is all wooden flooring so wearing socks with some grip or thickness is recommended. The stairs get steeper for each floor. The entrance and exit stairs are different though inside the same building. The views from each floor are good. On the way back there is a more era wise historic description of the castle. It’s a very good and a must do experience in Himeji, but requires good physical fitness. The staff are really wonderful, they are available at each floor and all throughout the complex and help you very respectfully. There is a gift shop at the end as well. Highly recommend a visit to this historical monument.
