三溪园的点评
点评：It’s hard to believe that this entire garden was once someone’s private property.
The place is huge and it would easily take an hour or two to cover every corner of it. Other than the flora and fauna, there are several well preserved historical buildings on site, even if you are not an architectural or historical fan they are still worth a look. It’s amazing how all these buildings are able to blend so well with the surrounding, it’s like they were built there rather than being transported from its original site to the garden.
Sadly one would also need to have some level of fitness to cover the grounds as there are parts that require climbing of steps and walking on uneven grounds. Good thing is that there several well placed resting points to catch your breathe before continuing.
The place is well maintained with well marked route to guide visitors around. There are also well placed informative signs around to enhance the overall visit experiences.
If there is time only for one park or garden to visit when at Yokohama, without a doubt this is the garden to visit.
