Total Rip-off – Avoid the ferry and go to adjacent Sandunes instead!

点评：We found Chunnambar Boat House to be a complete waste of money. Right at the start, to enter the pier you have to pay an entry fee per person plus charges for car parking. On top of that, they charge a steep INR 354 per person for short to and fro ride in ferries that are outdated and not properly maintained.
Once we got to the beach, there were virtually no facilities to justify the price—just a restaurant shack and a few shades.
The real kicker is that Sandunes Paradise Beach, which is right adjacent to it, is exactly the same beach but only costs INR 89 per person for entry. Plus, Sandunes actually has a few facilities and activities available. We recommend saving your money—skip the overpriced ferry at Chunnambar and head straight to Sandunes by road.
