点评：To Castle or Not to Castle, That Should Not Be The Question! Visiting Kronborg Slot (Kronborg Castle) is well worth the train ride from Copenhagen for a day trip, especially if you combine this with a visit to the Louisiana Museum. The castle was Shakespeare's inspiration for Elsinore, Hamlet's castle. This writer's suggestion is to walk through the interior courtyard and go up the stairs straightaway to the roof ( see photo). The roof has a great view of Sweden, just across the water. The staircase and roof can get crowded, so we were glad to do that first (see photo). Then, we walked throughout the castle and enjoyed its expansive size (see photo). The castle has excellent signage, and we felt that we learned a lot, despite not being part of an organized tour. We covered it quite easily in less than two hours. I am very glad we went here.
