点评:We enjoyed most of our day, and saw George , the croc and some other little ones in the river. A few birds also. The negative was the constant loud talking of Stu, the non stop talking encyclopedia who although had to be admired for his in-depth knowledge of the crocs ect. did not allow us to get a chance to just enjoy the beautiful, serene quietness of the surroundings. Also Stu's humour is NOT funny.
Stu informed us during the wetlands tour with the tractor pulling the 4 carriages of the endangered area & species of birds living there. My question was how does the damage done to the area in the ultra wet conditions of the hugh tractor wheels as well as the carriages sliding around as they were pulled through the long grass and reeds leaving behind large destroyed tracks each day recover ?
The hero of the day was Ian, the assistant, he was quiet, efficient, cooked all food including the delicious damper to perfection, was ever ready to be of assistance to everybody. All without any appreciation shown to him. You are a legend, Ian.
