An opportunity to show Arctic Art squandered on political installations

点评：This is not so much a review as a warning to other fine art lovers that this museum is far more interested in progressive art than majoring on its collection of arctic paintings.
On a short stopover on the Hurtigruten, we set time aside to see what we hoped would be unique art exhibited in a unique high arctic setting. So we proceeded to the 3rd floor where they had some wonderful examples. Only problem was, scarcely more than a dozen pictures were on display. Still, there was the much larger 2nd floor yet to see, only it soon became clear that suddenly everything had gone all woke with some modern art installations themed around Gaza. For our taste (and I appreciate others, indeed many, may disagree) this had no artistic merit whatsoever and we felt our investment of 220NOK and 20 minutes would have been much better spent on cinnamon buns.
