I Visited Solo and Found it Well Organised, Clean and Orderly
九寨沟自然保护区的点评
点评：I bought online a package containing the entrance ticket, the hop-on-hop-off shuttle inside, and also an evening romantic show which is outside and nothing to do with this National Park, cost over RMB600. Worth every dollar!
I stayed 2 nights in the area. This National Park opens at 8am (earlier in summer months) and I arrived at around 8:15am. Already found long queues of tour groups entering, but it's well organised, fast and in good order.
The paths inside is in a "Y" shape. It's rather impossible to visit each and every scenic spot. So I only chose the salient ones like Pearl Shoals Waterfall, Five-Flower Lake (iconic and must-see), Five Colour Pond, Long Lake etc. i also enjoy a buffet lunch at the only restaurant (at tourist centre).
The day I went is cloudy, but still could see the crystal clear waters. The shuttle is not that easily accessible as I thought, as one is not allowed to walk a bit after getting off and return to the same stop to catch a shuttle, but has to walking through the boardwalk in the certain section, before reaching another shuttle stop near the exit of that section. It's unilateral path. I believe it's for crowd control which is appreciated. That said, it's rather an easy walk overall in this National Park. Snacks, drinks, souvenirs are available everywhere.
I can't bear the squat toilet and it's so good that the restrooms here provide seating toilets. Very clean too without bad smell. This's important for foreigners and other tourists like me.
About the transport, I took a 2-hour fast rail train from Chengdu, then a 2.5 hr 7-seater van to a hotel near the entrance of the park. There's an airport and cab ride requires 1.5 hr to the park entrance. Transport is not a problem if you travel alone as the supply and choices are plenty and instant.

园内的步道呈“Y”字形，几乎不可能游览到每个景点。所以我只选择了几个比较著名的景点，比如珠潭瀑布、五花潭（标志性景点，必游之地）、五彩池、长湖等等。我还在唯一的餐厅（游客中心）享用了自助午餐。
我去的那天是阴天，但仍然可以看到清澈见底的湖水。接驳巴士并没有我想象中那么方便，下车后不能走一段路再回到原站搭乘，必须沿着指定区域的木栈道走一段，才能到达靠近出口的另一个接驳巴士站。这是一条单行道。我觉得这是为了控制人流，这点值得赞赏。不过总的来说，在这个国家公园里散步还是比较轻松的。到处都有小吃、饮料和纪念品出售。
我实在受不了蹲式厕所，所以这里的洗手间配备坐式马桶真是太好了。而且非常干净，没有异味。这对像我这样的外国游客来说很重要。
关于交通，我从成都乘坐了2小时的高铁，然后又乘坐了2.5小时的7座面包车到达公园入口附近的酒店。如果从机场到公园入口，打车需要1.5小时。如果你独自旅行，交通不成问题，因为交通工具很多，选择也很多，而且很快就能找到。
