pro con advice- my "visit" to this Medieval Byzantine Ottoman super gate to the Old City

* The focal meeting point for tourist groups from all over the world- raucous and loud
* Many local hucksters may approach, but ignore them or firmly say "no"

When I enter the Old City from Mamilla mall
ADVICE
* Go through the L-shaped gate and not the opened Mamilla foot bridge - don't go where the cars go
* Admire the structure, its walls, doors, turrets and the gigantic Torah scroll attached to the outer door.
