点评:We went in 2012, and I don't remember the month. Our walk to the summit was accidental (:D) as we'd planned as quick trip to view the Source of Spring a couple of hundred metres from the carpark. We took a wrong turn and realised as we kept walking, p, and up, and up that we were not on a short trail. It was so pretty, though. We aren't especially fit (were early to mid 50's back then) but the scenery kept us motivated. Partway up it started snowing ever so slightly. We realised we weren't prepared for seriously cold weather but we did have a beanie and spray jacket each in the backpack which we eventually put on. We did have a bear whistle in the backpack, too, which we kept handy :) At the top we certainly needed the warm gear, but we were awestruck with the beauty of that place and it was cold but there was still sunshine.. a little :) . My partner continued walking over to the base of the final peak climb, but he had normal walking shoes and it was slippery so no luck. I was just besotted with the beautiful huge conical glacial erratic (white quartz?) so my walk stopped right there for a good half hour or more. Definitely one of our favourite walks, definitely one of the most beautiful National Parks we've ever seen. Stunning, worth every uphill step.
