点评：We booked a half day Puffing Billy tour with Klook. We asked to picked up at Southern Cross Hotel at 7:45am. After that, our driver picked up two more groups at South Melbourne. Our guide explained the tour and then he set off for Belgrave station. He also gave us interesting informations about the places that we saw on our journey. That morning the sky was overcast but surprisingly it became sunny once we reached Belgrave Station. We had time to take photos and walked aound before the train departed at 10am for Lakeside. The journey was 1 hour and we experienced sitting with our legs dangling out. The highlight was passing the iconic Trestle Bridge. When we reached Lakeside, we had about slightly more than an hour to eat lunch and walked around the Emerald Lake Park before going back to Melbourne. Instead of eating at the cafe, we ate our packed lunch beside the Lake Treganowan. We also walked the Lake Nobelius loop track (1.2km) to Lake Nobelius. It was an easy walk on flat ground. There are many trails available at Emerald Lake park. I would strongly recommend the Puffing Billy ride from Belgrave to Lakeside as journey is an hour and there are much to see and trails to walk at Emerald Lake Park at the Lakeside Station. The is a big cafe at the Lakeside Visitor Centre too.
