普芬比利蒸汽小火车的点评
点评：What a joyous train ride through beautiful hills! I tried to take Puffing Billy Railway once in summer and once in winter. Both were absolutely fun!
The choice of the route from Belgrave to Lakeside (return) is somehow the best: 3 hours with one hour side spent at Lakeside. Take the Belgrave line from Melbourne CBD to Belgrave station, which is an approximately 70-minute long journey. From the platform, follow the blue line to reach Puffing Billy's Belgrave station.
A ride aboard the Puffing Billy train offered us the rare opportunity of riding an ancient styled train. To make the experience even more authentic, guards waved at us as the train departed each station, bells ringing to mark the departure and arrival of trains.
Enjoy this “ancient” journey through natural forests and a lot of wilderness.
