Best Scottish Tours provided the best of Scotland and truly a remarkable experience

点评：We worked with our trip coordinator Leah from Best Scottish Tours to provide us with a customized 12 day Best of Scotland tour. Leah was so easy to work with and helped us plan our trip, including working in all of our requests. She and her team, including Kirsty and Jennifer, made everything so seamless and well coordinated. We stayed at small well curated independent hotels, often with exceptional waterfront views, including bays, lakes (lochs), rivers, sounds and seas. Full Scottish breakfasts (with alternative options) and exceptional dinners were included at every stop. Our favorites were many, including the Coul House Estate, No26 by the Sea, Dunkeld House and Victoria Square Hotel.
I must say that our personal driver and guide, Chris G. truly brought all the planning to life. Chris G. used his extensive knowledge of Scottish history, his storytelling, and his desire to make our trip truly ours, made this bucket list tour the best. He went out of his way to find details and sites relating to our Scottish ancestors. Each day was carefully crafted by him, including timing with weather, crowds and traffic, while allowing us more time to relax and enjoy a stop while always being there with a suggestion of an option. We never felt rushed like we had been on other tours. Chris G made it possible for us to enjoy and savor each moment and each site As a trained actor, his sense of timing and presentation were impeccable. He also knew the best little local lunch spots, always detailing our options. Chris G allowed us to find every nook and cranny of shopping including clothing, food and hand made items by local artisans. Our tour led us to so many beautiful villages, getting to soak up the best of Scotland. We saw it all: castles, beautiful gardens, palaces, mountains, waterfalls, forests, historic sites, distilleries cairns, and so much more.
It is not often, when you have high expectations as we did, that those expectations are met. It is truly rare when those expectations are exceeded. Our great guide Chris G. and Best Scottish Tours made that happen. And because of their expertise, we are thankful, grateful and blessed by our trip. Perfect.
