Excellent. Premium Tour is Awesome!!
玛丽罗斯号博物馆，朴茨茅斯古代造船厂的点评
点评：The Mary Rose museum is one of the best museums I have been to. The state of preservation of the artifacts found was truly incredible. The way the museum displayed the artifacts was awesome. Really showed how life onboard the ship was and how the ship was at the time of sinking.
If you have the time and especially if you are a history buff, I would highly recommend the 2 hour premium tour. Even the non-history fans in our group enjoyed the tour. We took our tour with Jan. He shared with us his knowledge of the Battle of the Solent, discovery and conservation of the Mary Rose, and he explained the displayed artifacts. I was surprised when Jan handed us pieces of the actual ship to touch as well. We also got a chance to handle a piece of rope recovered from the ship. We could still smell the pitch on the rope.
I could tell Jan’s passion for the Mary Rose and its history was shared with the rest of the volunteers at the museum. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
