Scenic Boat Tour的点评
点评：Winter Park is a lovely place just north of downtown Orlando but it feels like a million miles from theme parks and tourist traps. The scenic boat tour is a very slick operation and very popular. When we arrived for the 11am boat trip there were three boatloads returning from the 10am trip and a couple more heading out at 11.30. Get there early if you want a specifically timed trip - they don’t take advance bookings, so it is first-come-first-served.
The boats are open, so you may need a hat and definitely will need sunscreen. On hot days, water would be useful too. The trip lasts an hour and the commentary ( provided by the boat drivers) varies depending on their interests. Some provide more information about the history and fantastic properties surrounding the lakes, and some concentrate more on the wildlife and environment. They all follow the same route, but just with a slightly different emphasis. We have taken the trip four or five times and have always learned something new. We have also been lucky enough to see some amazing wildlife along the way.
The tour costs 20 dollars and is worth every cent. It gives a really good flavour of the Winter Park area to a visitor and makes you want to see more
